We are learning to create a concrete (shape) poem using alliteration and similes:

MATARIKI

Pohutukawa Syndicate have been having lots of fun celebrating Matariki this week.
REMINDER: We will be having a shared kai on Friday

BRILLIANT BIRDS

WIND, WIND, WIND

 

When I stepped out of the warm class it felt like I had been in a whirl of flames. Icy cold waves crushed against my face. Now I was in a world of cold rain and ice, as if I was covered in snow. I wished I could push myself back into the class but the gale was too strong. I could only see huge clouds like glaciers. I knew that soon I would be covered in rain from head to toe.
